「新浪潮」代表了動畫與漫畫於當代藝術浪潮的交互影響，並激盪出多元創新的藝術風格。本區展出臺灣藝術家們的金獎作品、原創動畫與漫畫，以及數位科技所營造的沉浸式動漫體驗，從多樣化視角融入，體現臺灣原創動漫的奇幻視覺與聲光藝境。

「奇想動畫的幕後」區，王登鈺作品《金魚》充滿奇幻風格以及無限想像，帶領民眾開啟另一個無邊無際的奇想宇宙；「超展開的停格動畫之旅」區，黃勻弦作品《當一個人》從勾勒製作偶具場景裝置與動畫中，看見傳統的捏麵工藝如何融入動畫藝術並推至國際影展殿堂；「超萌的異世界」區，黃子佼、蕭閔釗 ANO、呂志文以回收二手玩具為媒材，打造裝置藝術作品《跨越彩虹》《獅去勇氣》及動漫鳥居等情境布置，將童話與藝術結合，傳遞當代藝術多元性及永續藝術概念；劉育樹原創IP作品《墨世曙光》透過漫畫、動畫、聲光、科技的藝術展現，打造遠古神話的沉浸式體驗，讓觀眾彷彿身臨其境的震撼效果。另，搭配「從漫畫到動畫，從動畫到故事」神話故事的公仔模型、漫畫作品及3D模型互動效果，演繹臺灣本土IP可展現的多元藝術魅力。

The "New Waves" represents the interactive influence of animation and comics in contemporary art, which has spurred multiple and innovative artistic styles. This zone displays award-winning works, original animations and comics of Taiwanese artists, as well as immersive animation experiences created by digital technology, incorporating from diverse perspectives, it reflects the fantasy vision and sound and light art environment of Taiwan's original animamix.
In the "Behind the Scenes of Fantasy Animation" area, Fish Wang's animated film Goldfish is full of fantasy style and unlimited imagination, leading the public to open another endless fantasy universe. In "The Journey of Super-expanding Stop-motion Animation" area, Yun-Hsien Huang’s work Where Am I Going, starts from the production of character puppets, scene installations, and animations to learn how she merged traditional dough figurine skills into animation art and promoted it to international film festivals. In "Super Adorkable Different World" area, Mickey Huang, ANO, and Aer Lu recreated installations such as Over the Rainbow, Courage of a Lion, and Anime Torii with recycled toys, combining fairy tales and art to convey the diversity and sustainability of contemporary art. Yu-Shu Liu’s original IP work Ink Century creates an immersive experience of ancient mythology through the artistic expression of comics, animation, sound & light effect, and technology, giving the audience a stunning experience as if they were personally on the scene. From comics to animation, from animation to stories, the use of character models, comic books and 3D interactive effects of mythology tales jointly showcase and embody the diverse artistic charm of Taiwan’s local IP.
