Goldfish is an animated short film adapted from comics that blended the atmosphere of the Showa era of Japan into its visual style. The wooden frame houses and streets in the film are filled with nostalgia of 80s Taiwan. Without dialogue or special interpretation of the background, it tells personal views on social observations through bright colors, unique image styles, fantasy plots, and allowing people to reflect on the current social situation through metaphors.
