岩見靜治 Iwami Seiji

日本殿堂級漫畫家,曾任八潮路つとむ(Tsutomu Yashioji)的助手,於1981年入選芳文社「MANGA TIME」後正式出道,從事四格漫畫創作。於2019年榮獲大桑文化獎勵賞,作品曾於地震被災者を元気づける漫画展、石卷貓祭 貓插畫展、亞洲漫畫高峰會北九州大會作品展、愛知日中漫畫展、江之島電鐵漫畫祭等展出,曾於2010年被派往新加坡、馬來西亞、韓國和英國,擔任文化事務廳的日本文化特使。作品有《八朔桔男孩》系列、《黑貓Cyara》,此外也以快手繪製肖像畫《似顏繪》聞名。

A Japan phenomenal cartoonist, former assistant of Tsutomu Yashioji, made his debut by appearing in MANGA TIME published by Houbunsha in 1981. He works on four-frame manga since then. In 2019, he won Okuwa Culture Achievement Award, his comic works have been displayed on “Manga To Cheer Up Earthquake Victims" Exhibition, Ishinomaki cat festival Cat Illustration Exhibition, Asian comics Kitakyushu Manga Summit, Aichi Japan-China Comic Exhibition, Enoshima Electric Railway Manga Festival etc. In 2010 he was appointed as the Japan Cultural Envoy by the Agency for Cultural Affairs of Japan and sent abroad to Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and UK. His works include the series of Hassaku-Kun and Black Cat Cyara. In addition, he is also famous for his quick-hand caricature.

《八朔桔男孩》 Hassaku-Kun

《八朔桔男孩》在日本是相當具代表性之四格漫畫,自1989年於NEWS和歌山連載,30年來發表超過1,500篇的漫畫。主角八朔君原型是作者的兒子,故事內容主要講述圍繞在八朔君身邊的日常生活寫照,也記錄了平成的30年中,在和歌山發生的許多歷史事件,例如世界度假博覽會、丸正自動車製造株式會破產和紀伊半島洪水等,時至今日,依舊深受和歌山縣民讀者的喜愛。

Hassaku-Kun is a representative four-frame manga in Japan. Since 1989 it was serialized on News Wakayama, 30 years published over 1,500 comics. The prototype of protagonist Hassaku-Kun is the author's son. The story focused around Hassaku-Kun’s daily life, also recorded many historical events occurred in Wakayama during the 30 years of the Heisei era, for example World Resort Expo, the bankruptcy of Marusho Motor Co., Ltd., and the great floods in Kii Peninsula, which is still loved by readers of Wakayama up to now.

《似顏繪》 Nigaoe

於2019年創作,似顏繪是日本用語,意旨以繪畫的方式,結合真人的相貌特徵、動作或是心情,在紙上畫出接近真人的肖像。岩見靜治以快速繪製肖像畫《似顏繪》聞名,2000年,在韓國舉行的「JAPAN WEEK」上,僅以兩週時間,親自繪製了2,000人的似顏繪,即興繪畫功力相當深厚。

Created in 2019, Nigaoe is a caricature culture in Japan that aims to draw a portrait that combining a real person’s physical features, movements, and mood on a paper. Iwami Seiji is well-known for his speedy Nigaoe drawing. At Japan Week 2000 in South Korea, he personally drawn 2,000 people’s caricatures in only two weeks with mature impromptu painting skills.
