第二次世界大戰之後為俄羅斯動畫產業的黃金時期，當時作品風格以社會現實主義、民間傳說和童話寓言為主。現在的俄羅斯動畫風格已經相當多元，但整體而言都在色彩上呈現出如詩般的繪畫感，並在主題上保有鮮明的民族特色，《Ties》即是一個鮮明的範例。

After the World War II, it was the golden age of the Russian animation industry. The mainstream art styles at that time were social realism, folklore and fairy tales. Nowadays, the styles of Russian animation are quite diverse, but generally they all present poetic painting sense in color, and maintain a distinctive theme of national characteristics; Ties is a stark example.
