Chiachilan Wine Museum(Yilan Distillery)

Yilan was also called ChiaChiLan (jiazilan) in the early years, and the Wine Museum is named after this. The Wine Museum is built from an old Japanese occupation-era warehouse. In addition to exhibiting wine/liquor-related relics and history, the museum also explains the entire process of wine production. There is a wall of old wine jugs at the entrance, which reflects the prosperity of wine-making in the early years. The Chia Chi Lan Wine Museum was once the Yilan Distillery, the oldest distillery in Taiwan. It primarily produced red distilled wine. Therefore, not only is this place filled with the scent of liquor, but also special wine-related souvenirs.
